Very nice article. I didn't know some of these like "A child is reared.". Ever since I was in grade school, i thought that "A child is raised" is the appropriate one to use. But when I read this article, I was shocked that the correct term was "reared" and not "raised". Thank you for the enlightenment, Sir Escote.
